What is Sumo Picks?

Sumo Picks provides its visitors with free and premium sports picks regularly throughout the week.

What sports do we cover?

We cover most professional leagues (NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA) as well as college football and basketball.

Why did we create this website?

We created this website as a way to track our own personal sports picks. We didn’t want to rely on 3rd party “pick tracker” websites or mobile apps. We wanted to own our own data while having the ability to create custom software tools that would hopefully help improve our sports investments.

Who created Sumo Picks?

We’re a small group of software engineers who also happen to be sports enthusiasts. We wanted a way to track our sports picks and thought it would be a fun project.

Are all of your sports picks free?

No. We also offer premium sports picks. But, the vast majority of the picks posted on this website are free.

What is the difference between a free pick and premium pick?

First of all, we literally play each and every sports pick posted on this website. Free or otherwise… But, we differentiate our free picks from the premium ones by the amount of analysis that goes into making the pick.

Do you offer a guarantee on your premium picks or a refund if a pick loses?

No we do not. As mentioned, we literally play each pick posted on this website. So, when you win, we win. When you lose, we also lose…

What service do you use to process credit card charges?

We use PayPal as our secure method of processing credit card payments. No PayPal account is required to make a purchase through this website. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards.

Why does PayPal ask for a phone number?

It’s part of the PayPal payment verification process. We personally do not store any of our user’s personal information.

Do you vary your units from pick to pick?

Not usually. 90% of the time we’re trying to win 1 unit when on favorites and betting 1 unit when taking an underdog. We take bankroll management very seriously.

Do you lay crazy juice on big favorites?

No way! When playing favorites we very rarely take a line higher than -150. It’s usually -130 or lower… Take a look at our sports picks archive to see our full pick history.
